We vote with our wallets and we shouldn&#;t be voting &#;yes&#; to seeing classic films post-converted to 3-D. It&#;s a sham, it&#;s always been, and it was perpetuated by James Cameron himself. Yet, here comes Cameron&#;s eternal classic Terminator 2: Judgment Day in 3-D (at least they didn&#;t tout it as &#;the way it was always meant to be seen&#; or I may have lost it).

Cameron’s iconic, perfect, and timeless masterpiece, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, was converted to 3-D specifically to cash in on the international success of  Terminator: Genisys. Being that this new version of the film exists, it makes sense for it to find a release here in the States. Distrib Films will do so on August 25th.

Don&#;t see it.

The entire entertainment industry tried to cram 3-D down our throats for the better part of the last decade. They told you that you needed special Blu-ray players, even better televisions, and forced you to buy stupid as fuck 3-D &#;shutter glasses&#; that were battery operated (and dark), even though the cheap, plastic ones looked 1, times better. In fact, they used 3-D to jack theater ticket prices so high that it&#;s become an elitist event to have a night out on the town with the family. Yet, 3-D televisions have officially failed, so they&#;re now pushing virtual reality as the next big thing.

It&#;s a big tech scam and Hollywood is in on it. Terminator 2 in 3-D is probably the last of this post-conversion nonsense, but it&#;s also the perfect movie to say &#;fuck you&#; to specifically because Cameron is behind it. It&#;s easy to look back at the release of Avatar and pinpoint it as the starting point to the 3-D revolution, which eviscerated our wallets with the garbage tech. But here&#;s another reason to say &#;no&#; to this cash grab&#; Avatar 2.

Why has Avatar been delayed? The real reason? Virtual. Reality. Cameron, even though he continually slams virtual rea
