Darrell Glenn Wallace Sr., age 57, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at Lone Grove, Okla. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 16, 2021, at Hickory Cemetery, Ardmore, Okla. Pastor Steve Wall will officiate. Darrell was born on February 8, 1964, at Ardmore, Okla., to David Johnson and Marina Wallace. He attended Dickson Schools. He began working at the Sale Barn and worked there for over 25 years. Darrell enjoyed working as a handyman, doing odd jobs throughout the area. Anytime he got a chance, he loved playing pool with his friends and listening to music. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Anthony “Bolo” Wallace, sister, Janet Marie Wallace, and niece, Staci Wallace. Darrell is survived by his son, Darrell Wallace, Jr., daughter, Casey Wallace, four grandchildren, brother, Craig Wallace, numerus nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Denham, Jr. Lewis, Jonathan Higginbothem, Wendall Marris, Mark Joe, and Andrew Alvizo. Viewing will be held on Thursday, from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm, April 15, 2021, at Griffin~Hillcrest Funeral Home, Ardmore. Condolences may be left at griffinhillcrest.com.
