    • SEVENTEEN Confirmed to Perform at Latin America’s Largest Festival, First K-pop Artist to Do So

    SEVENTEEN (세븐틴 - S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) is set to be the first K-pop group to perform at 'Tecate Pa’l Norte 2025' (Pa’l Norte) in April 2025, according to their agency, Pledis Entertainment.

    SEVENTEEN will perform on the festival’s opening day, April 4, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Pa’l Norte is Latin America’s largest music festival, attracting over 100,000 attendees daily and frequently compared to Coachella. Past Pa’l Norte lineups have featured top Latin artists like Karol G and J Balvin, along with global superstars such as Billie Eilish, Maroon 5, and Martin Garrix.

    In addition to SEVENTEEN, the 2025 Pa’l Norte lineup includes Justin Timberlake, Olivia Rodrigo, Green Day, and Charli XCX, promising a high-energy festival experience. SEVENTEEN will bring their dynamic stage presence, cementing their status as “masters of performance” for Latin American fans. 

    The group has achieved several K-pop firsts in major music festivals worldwide, starting with their acclaimed performance on the main stage of Glastonbury in June, where they received praise from outlets like NME. In September, they headlined Lollapalooza Berlin, leaving a powerful impression on European audiences.

    Their ongoing 'SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR' has been selling out venues worldwide, with U.S. performances in Rosemont and New York already complete. Next, they will perform in Texas (October 31 and November 1), Oakland (November 5-6), and Los Angeles (November 9-10), before continuing to Japan’s domes and major cities across Asia.

Loosely based on the Taken Out format, the show is produced by JSBC: Jiangsu Television and taped in Nanjing. It was first broadcast on January 15, 2010, and originally aired twice a week on Saturdays and Sundays until December 2014.
