Given his life to Jesus at the age of 12 and ministering the lord for the past 27 years diligently, Apostle Tamrat has been a global icon to nations. He is the overseer and Senior Pastor of Christ Jesus Life International church which is one of the fastest growing churches in Ethiopia. For the past 7 years Apostle Tamrat has been faithfully ministering to thousands of people every week with the tangible manifestation of God’s Power. In February 2017, Apostle Tamrat Tarekegn was ordained and commissioned by his spiritual father Apostle Guillermo Maldonado as an apostle and has been ministering under the apostolic anointing and governance. Tamrat Tarekegn Simma(born December 29, 1978) is the founder and senior pastor of Christ Jesus Life International Church, CJ Television, and an author in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

History and ministry

Tamrat is the founder and Senior Pastor of Christ Jesus Life Ministry (CJ TV). Tamrat preaches what he sees as the message of Jesus and The power of Holy Spirit. Tamrat's international television program CJ TV, which is aired on Nilesat. As of June 01, 2019, his ministry, have a combined membership of 15,000 congregants.

Tamrat teaches that Christian believers are living an illegal life if The Holy Spirit is not with them. He believes that without the divine power of God, it is impossible to truly know God and receive His blessings of healing, wealth, deliverance, among others in our life. Tamrat is married to his ministry partner Mariamawit Aytenfesu. He currently resides in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with his wife and their two sons Christian and Noah.
