Biography
The retired gospel singer was born and raised in Mpumalanga, Swaziland, South Africa on 3rd November 1965. Having been raised in the average low-income family, it has to be challenging. Sipho had a rough time being forced by the situation to work hard to support his mother after the death of his father when he was still young. He dropped out of school before completing his primary education.
He started to do several jobs in construction. He worked with a sugar plantation company. Later he moved to Kruger National Park as a construction worker. He sharpened his skills by the age of 21, thus securing a chance with Pienaar as a construction worker. The Big Fish kept on nurturing his passion while he was still working there.

His father passed away when he was young, forcing him to leave drop out of primary school. While doing odds jobs in construction, then as a technician for Telkom, he developed a passion for gospel. His breakthrough came in the mid-90s with the hits ‘Ngitinikela kuwe’ and ‘Yek’intokozo’. He went on to release a string of big-selling albums, including 'Calvary' (2001), 'Moya Wami' (2003), 'Umuzi Omuhle' (2005), 'Hamba Nami' (2008) and 'Ebenezer' (2009). Along the way he has picked up numerous SAMA and Crown Gospel awards, as well as a Kora nomination, earning the nickname “Big Fish” for his influential role in the industry. Makhabane retired officially in 2010 in a much publicized event at the Pretoria State Theatre, released as a live DVD and CD. He retired to focus his energies on developing the young talent. BACKGROUND
Dr.Apostle.Rev. Lucky N.L Gamede is the first son of Hnr Andries Gamede (The Former MP MEC For Human settlements, MEC For Agriculture, Rural Development & Land Reforms, Mayor of Mkhondo & Gert Sibande District Municipality now Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee in the Mpumalanga Legislature) and Sebenzile Mavis Mhlophe. I am a Senior Pastor and a founder of EL Shaddai Revival Church International Ministries which started on the 22 November 2011 & has 5 Branches with above 5000 Membership in total. I was born in (23 May 1983). I was born & raised in Piet Retief Mpumalanga & did my lower primary school in Pongola KZN. Due to the political situation that was in the country at the time I was taken to my Grandmother’s place for safety in Swaziland where I completed senior level education at Themba Primary and Masiphula High School. In Swaziland under Rev A Mhlophe of Mabona Evangelical Church I accepted Christ Jesus as my lord and Personal savior in 1995 and my grandmother played a huge role in shaping my life as a born again Christian. After finishing high school, I then came back home in Piet Retief since the political landscape was at equilibrium. I was born and raised under Evangelical Church, I got saved in 1995 in Mabona Evangelical Church under Pastor AA Mhlophe. I Relocated to Secunda in where I Joined God Never Fails revival church and served under Bishop ND Nhlapo who mentors me at ministry level until i was released to ministry. In my Ministry work, I have prayed healed the many sick people, Delivered the demon possessed and raised two dead people. I conduct crusades all ove the country which are always packed to capacity.

After Sipho started working with Telkom, he took his music career to the next level. He started his career back in 1996. Sipho Makhabane debuted into the South African music industry by storm when he released his two hit songs, Ngitinikela Kuwe and Yek Intokozo.
Following a successful turnout of the songs, he launched few more tracks, Thum Ulolo and Uliqhawe, which were exceptionally successful.
Uyigugu track was released in 1998, followed by a hit track Makudanyiswe in 1999. In 2001, he released the Calvary album. Afterward, Moya Wami was released in 2003.
In 2005, he released Umuzi Omuhle album, and in 2008, he dropped Hamba Nami.Sipho announced his retirement from music after the release of the Ebenezer album in 2009 to focus on developing young talent. But despite his retirement, he has continued to release more albums while rebranding some of his earlier songs. He established his label, Big Fish.
