Gigandet and Geisendorff are facing legal action from the owners of a Los Angeles property, who allege that they violated the terms of their residential lease. Documents show that on August 25, , the couple signed a one-year lease that subsequently became a month-to-month arrangement. Each month, they were expected to pay $6, in rent. The lawsuit claims that they failed to pay $21, in rent between November and February The property owner's legal team demanded the return of the home because the couple stayed there without paying or getting permission. They are asking for the owed money, cancellation of the lease, and daily damages of $ from March 1, , until the judgment date. Early life
Gigandet was born in Tacoma, Washington to Kim and Jay Gigandet, a co-owner of The Rock pizza franchise. His sister Kelsie is a hair stylist. After graduating from Auburn Senior High School in Auburn, Washington, in , he moved to California, where he attended Santa Monica College.
Career
In , Gigandet made his acting debut with a guest appearance in the crime television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In and Gigandet continued his television career with recurring roles in television shows such as The Young and the Restless and Jack and Bobby.
In –06, Gigandet was cast as Kevin Volchok on the Fox teen drama television series The O.C., appearing in 15 episodes. Gigandet portrayed the role of Kevin, a bad boy and rebellious competitive surfer who develops a casual relationship with rich socialite Marissa Cooper (Mischa Barton). The Twilight star's wife officially filed the paperwork for divorce on Aug. 1 in Los Angeles Superior Court, according to the document obtained by E! News. Dominique listed the date of separation as May 1 and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
The two—who have been married since November —shares three children together: Everleigh Ray Gigandet, 13, Rekker Radley Gigandet, 9, Arrnie Heartly Gigandet, 6. Dominique is now seeking joint legal and physical custody of the three kids, per the recent filing.
In addition to joint custody of her children, Dominique has also requested that Cam pay spousal support and petitioned that the court prevent him from getting financial support from her.
Back in , Cam played the role of the vampire James Witherdale in Twilight, whose nemesis was Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and made it his mission to try to kill Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart). Prior to the film, he held a small role as Kevin Volchok on the Fox teen drama The O.C.
