The secrets of longevity from a nutritionist Vladislav Slastin
"The one who desires life, wants to live a long life – to see the good has to save his mouth from the evil", – is told in Tehilim. And we can add that people need to protect health from poor quality food and unhealthy diet. Recently, the President of the League of fitness nutritionists Vladislav Slastin has revealed the secrets of longevity to the wards of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel".
During the meeting, our guest told many interesting examples and gave practical advice on the selection of products, proper preparation and consumption of food. He also has provided some prescriptions for longevity, maintaining body fit, keeping the good mood, preserving the memory and a much needed sense of humor. The wards of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" showered the guest with questions and comments. It is easy to understand because people of mature age have certain diseases that must be considered when compiling a diet. Well, there are so many temptations around! And sometimes they want a bit of something tasty... Therefore, among the many questions were not only traditional ones – about healthy eating, but also about what to eat in different health conditions, how to relieve your body from stress, obtained in the result of malnutrition, when you can eat only a small range of certain foods.
Particularly important for the wards of Kiev Hesed was the fact that Vladislav gave recommendations, taking kashrut into consideration. Thus, the Jews who observe the rules of eating in accordance with religious traditions will also be able to benefit from the advice of a nutritionist. At the end of the meeting, the audience expressed sincere gratitude to Vladislav Slastin for an interesting, informative lecture and a pleasant acquaintance. We thank Vladislav for finding the time to visit our Hesed and sincerely hope for the continued friendship and cooperation In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Dad was a huge music fan and would often blast out his favourite albums on his stereo system. I remember hearing him play the Joshua Tree by U2 & Oasis,What's The Story Morning Glory. Those two albums became a huge influence on me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Oasis, Be Here Now Oasis, Definitely Maybe Stereophonics, Word Gets Around I could relate to theses albums so much I love the songwriting the guitars and just the rawness they all have running trough them. they all feel like soundtracks to my life and are the reason I became inspired to write and make my own music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “By Your Side” This song is very personal to me. I wrote it for my wife after the death of her mother as she sturrgled to cope with her loss the song became a celebration of our relationship and a reminder I will always be there for her no matter what. The family prophesied for him a successful fourth-generation medical career, but in the end, music became everything to him. How did an ordinary gastroenterologist from Ukraine become everyone's favorite and popular chansonnier? Georgy Eduardovich Krichevsky (real name of the well-known Garik Krichevsky) was born on March 31, 1963 in Lviv, in the family of a dentist Eduard Nikolaevich Krichevsky and a pediatrician Yulia Viktorovna Krichevsky. The mother of the future singer named her newborn son in honor of his grandfather Gabriel, but the registry office offered a simpler name, George. In the circle of family and friends, the boy was called Garik. At the age of two, the boy loved to sing and dance, easily reproduced melodies by ear, and was interested in various performers. Already at the age of 5, he began studying piano at a music school, but he lost interest in the instrument after a few months. Garik knew musical notation and musical theory well, which helped him quickly learn to play the guitar and compose his first compositions. In 1977, the young man, together with his friends, organized his own VIA, in which he took the place of a bass player and vocalist. The group successfully performed at various small concerts, in houses of culture, in clubs, they wrote songs together. At the same time, Garik was professionally involved in sports for some time. Constant competitions, fees put before the young man a choice - music or sports. In the end, he chose the first, which he does not regret. He graduated from secondary school No. 45 in Lviv at the age of 17. After graduation, he tried to enter the Lviv State Medical Institute, but failed. After an unsuccessful attempt, he decided to get a job as a nurse in a psychiatric clinic, and then as an emergency doctor. After two years of practice, the competition for a medical university passed without any problems. Along the way, with his studies, he continued to play After graduating from his studies, Krichevsky gets a job in his specialty, but does not leave music. For the first time, a musician decides to record songs. Garik's acquaintances helped to find a studio and musicians, but the joy of creating the first album did not last long: the album was stolen. Although this event upset the musician, it did not kill the desire to write new songs and pursue a creative career. At the same time, Krichevsky decides to create his own business. Together with a friend, the musician opens a video salon. In the early 1990s, several more compositions were recorded, which, unfortunately for Krichevsky's fans, have not survived either. The first long-awaited album called "Kievlyanka" appeared in 1992. The song of the same name, included in the album, ended up there by accident: Two years later, the album "Privokzalnaya" was released, which became the best-selling album in the CIS in a year. In 1994, Garik and his family left for Germany, but two years later he returned to his homeland to record the next disc. The album was named "Weekend". The singer becomes really popular, the touring period begins, Krichevsky is gladly invited to different cities and countries: the musician performs in Israel, Ukraine, North America and Russia. Krichevsky's songs are played on radio stations, and albums are sold out with a bang. Each concert of Krichevsky gathers a huge number of fans who are close to his work. Krichevsky happily continued to record new albums and no longer doubted that his vocation was music. The hits "My number 245" and "Kievlyanka" are still relevant and are still loved by the musician's fans. In 2004 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. In 2012, a collection of documentaries about the 1990s "Cool 90s" was released. The presenter was Garik Krichevsky, who knew exactly how life was, survived and was sung at that hard time when the outlines of countries and power were changing. Films without embellishment show
