A L. Kennedy was born on 22 October 1965 in Dundee, Scotland. Her full name is Alison Louise Kennedy. She is a professional writer. Apart from writing, she is also a stand-up comedian. The majority of her work list is full of novels, short stories, and non-fiction stuff. She made contributions to several newspapers in Europe. She writes reviews for the newspaper.

Early Life and Education

Alison is the only child of her parents. Her father's name was Robert Alan Kennedy. Her mother's name was Edwardene Mildred. Her father was a writer and a journalist. He also taught psychology at Dundee University. Alison completed her school education at the High School of Dundee. After that, she was admitted to the University of Warwick. There, she studied Bachelor of Arts Honors in Theatre Studies and Dramatic Arts. From 1987 to 1989, she worked as a community arts worker for Clydebank District Council.

After that, she became a writer-in-residence for the Hamilton and East Kilbride Social Work Department from 1989 to 1991 and won a Social Work Today Award in 1990. She also worked on Project Ability, a Glasgow-based visual arts organization, from 1989 to 1995. In 1995, she was a part-time lecturer at the University of Copenhagen. In 2009, she contributed a short story called "Vanish" to Oxfam's Ox-Tales project. Her story was published in the "Air" collection. In 2016, her novel "Serious Sweet" was long-listed for the Booker Prize.

Today on 15th July our students and staff organised A special assembly on World Youth Skills Day.

Assembly began with Mantra and followed by Hymn, short prayer, pledge, thought of the day, News Headlines, video depicting the importance of the day. Our students clearly send wonderfully convey as what is a youth skilled day. In short it’s s process of identifying your own skills and further developing the same skills to attain the ability to execute successfully in life. To give an opportunity to achieve technical and vocational education and training in the same skills which he already has. Youth of today develops the skills of leadership, creativity, responsibility, effective communication and various other challenges in life.

Thus the assembly was fruitful to serve the purpose and to convey the importance of the day.

It ended with national anthem and vote of thanks by the team of students to all.

As rightly stated by CA Mites Patel that Doctor’s are important for healthy atmosphere in society Chartered Accountants are important for wealthy culture in society. This day is celebrated to acknowledge the role of doctor’s in the progress of our nation. That’s why the day been honoured greatly to pay tribute to the doctor’s who gave their lives to save mankind from the dangerous disease covid - 19 pandemics.

Hats off to these two noble professionals who serves a great deal for the betterment of people in various ways. In India on 1st July we all give honour and respect to our doctor’s and chartered accountants. They have taken up the challenges to make a world a better place to live in.
