    Diese Übersetzungs-Wunschliste dient vor allem den Anfragen bezüglich anderssprachiger Enzyklopädie-Artikel, für die noch kein entsprechender Artikel in der deutschsprachigen Wikipedia existiert.

    Wenn du einen Artikel übersetzen möchtest, beachte bitte Folgendes:

    • Prüfe zuerst, ob der zu erstellende Artikel eine ausreichende enzyklopädische Relevanz aufweist. In der deutschsprachigen Wikipedia gelten andere und teilweise strengere Relevanzkriterien als beispielsweise in der englischsprachigen Wikipedia. Im Zweifel erfrage beim Relevanzcheck eine Einschätzung dazu.
    • Bitte überlege stets, ob sich nicht deutsche Quellen finden lassen. Eine Übersetzung bedeutet immer auch einen Kulturverlust und die Gefahr, in Übersetzungsfallen zu tappen.
    • Lies dir vorher auf jeden Fall die Hinweise zu Übersetzungen durch. Aus Lizenzgründen solltest Du den Artikel importieren lassen. (Für Erweiterungen ist zweimaliges Importieren notwendig. Das genaue Vorgehen wird hier erklärt.)
    • Falls du neu hier bist, sieh dir vorher die Hilfe (insbesondere die Konventionen zur Formatierung) an, denn jede Wikipedia formatiert ihre Artikel anders.
    • Zieh zu Artikeln die jeweiligen Originalsprachen heran und vergiss nach dem Erstellen eines neuen Artikels die Wikidata-Verknüpfung nicht.
    • Falls sprachliche Probleme auftreten, kannst du dich an die Übersetzungswerkstatt wenden.
    • Erledigte Artikel müssen nicht unterschrieben werden. Es reicht, einfach den entsprechenden Eintrag zu entfernen.
